Certificate Program in Spanish as a Foreign Language Teaching Methodology

The main objective of this 120 hour Certificate Program is to equip participants with methodological teaching guidelines and procedures within a communicative framework which uses a task-based approach.

There are three modules to this Certificate Program:

· MODULE 1
It presents a comprehensive history of the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language and new trends in the field.

· MODULE 2
It provides theoretical information regarding task construction for topic unit development according to needs analysis, teaching settings, and communicative tasks.

· MODULE 3
It involves participants in the practical and real development of communicative tasks and topic units that can be implemented in the Spanish as a Foreign Language Classroom.
