    Certified Public Accountant (Central University in Bogota). Specialist in External Auditing and Statutory Auditing (Autonoma University in Bucaramanga) and special studies in Top Management (Andes University) and in Financial Management and Cost Strategic Management (Pontificia Javeriana University). Broad work experience in management systems implementation applied to value management, costs, management accounting and permanent inventories, with the communication of knowledge received by recognized international consultants and applied to the petroleum industry.
  • MARIO JAVIER MONSALVE HAZBÓN.
    Enterprise consultant. Specialist in the organizational and technological areas. Technical studies in the United States on industrial processes optimization techniques and new facilitating technologies. Systems Engineer Cum Laude (Santander Industrial University). Specialist in Software Engineering. Member and partner of several firms of management consulting, including Brown & Root Energy Services, Vania Technology, Oracle de Colombia, Prosistemas, Tecnologías de Punta , Alta Tecnología, and Sistemas & Soluciones.
  • RENE M CASTRO.
    Certified Public Accountant and Tax Specialist (Jorge Tadeo Lozano University). Financial Management and Accounting Specialist (Miami University). Member of the Ethics Committee of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) during the period 1997-2000. Director of the Interamerican Society of Accounting in Colombia during the period 2003-2005 and Member of the International Directory of Researchers at the Latinamerican Asociation of Accounting Faculties (ALAFEC). Country Controller and Financial Director of Operations for Latin America in several multinational companies in Colombia, Venezuela, Spain, Mexico, and the United States. Broad experience as a teacher.
  • RICARDO MARTÍNEZ RIVADENEIRA.
    Systems Engineer with emphasis in Telematics (Piloto de Colombia University). Specialist in Business Administration (Nuestra Señora del Rosario School) and in Financial Administration (INCOLDA). MBA (Sabana University, INALDE). Teacher, instructor, facilitator, consultant, virtual course tutor, lecturer, and writer on themes related to management auditing, management control, and strategic planning at a national and international level.
  • RICARDO ACEVEDO.
    Business Adminstrator (Externado University). Specialist in Markets (Andes University). Studies in Top Management (Andes University). Currently fulfilling his MBA studies with emphasis on Public Management (Andes University). Student at the Integral Course of National Defense (Cidenal) in 1995. His work and academic experience has been based on Management, Marketing, Organizational Communication, Service Culture, Organizational Transformation and Strategy (Policies Management Approach). Actually he dedicates his effort to deepening in strategic planning methodology and its implementation in change cultures.
  • MOISES LOAIZA VALBUENA.
    Certified Public Accountant (Pontificia Javeriana University). Currently fulfulling his studies on International Business and Capital Markets (Externado University). Member of the Institute of Management Accountants – IMA and in process of obtaining the CMA - Certified Management Accountant certification. Outstanding eight year experience in Cost Management, Controlling, and Financial Planning at Multinational Companies.

Costs and Registrations

General Information
The Graduate Programs are directed to Public Accountants and professionals with undergraduate degrees in related fields (especially Business Administration, Economy, and Industrial Engineering).

Admission Requirements
Admission form, obtained by the Admissions and Registry Office, including the following documents:

  • Professional Degree Diploma and Graduation Act photocopies.
  • Original undergraduate grade certification, with a grade average not inferior than three point five (3.5) in the Colombian Grade Scale.
  • Two pictures. Size 3 cm X 4 cm.
  • ID photocopy (enlarged to half letter size sheet).
  • Work certification in which the job title, time, and responsibilities must be included.
  • Admission form (adequately filled).
  • To have English language comprehension (minimum required proficiency level: 70%)


Semester cost:
$3,767,000 Colombian Pesos

Duration:

One year distributed in two academic semesters, 272 on - campus hours each (approximately 20 weeks per semester).

Selection Process:

The candidate selection criteria are based on the academic performance during the undergraduate studies, on the personal, professional, and work experience, and the personal interview which will corroborate the candidate’s expectations with the profile that the program offers.

Class Schedule

Wednesdays (6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m), Fridays (6:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m), and Saturdays (8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m).
