Manuscript preparation
One of our policies is that all articles should include an abstract of 75 to 100 words, and additionally, a description of 75 to 100 words of the implications of the article regarding pedagogic practice, education policies or research practice. This section is called Transference to Practice and is required for all contributions except essays and lectures. For meta-research papers, this section must set out the transference to research practice.

Articles must follow the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). Also, they must be presented in Microsoft Word® (versions 97 or newer); Times New Roman font size 12, A4 paper size, double spaced, and 3cm margins on each side. Page numbers must be placed at the right of each page header, which should include the title of the paper. The text length must be between 20 and 30 pages including footnotes and references. The title should not exceed 10 words (60-70 characters including spaces). Articles may be submitted in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.

Submission of manuscripts
Contributions should be sent to articulosmagis@gmail.com or articulosmagis@javeriana.edu.co. These e-mail addresses will be used for permanent contact with authors.

Review process
magis,as a peer-reviewed journal, submits all articles to a thorough evaluation process carried out by anonymous peers. Any contribution is reviewed by the editorial board and at least two experts in the specific field. The comments of these evaluators will be sent to the authors, who must take into account all of the observations and suggestions and submit a final version of the paper to be published. The review process takes between two and three months, depending on the amount of manuscripts received.

The submission of an article implies that the authors officially state that the article:

1. Has not been published or accepted for publication in another journal.
2. No prior versions have been published as a working paper, or on a website, or, in case the paper is accepted for publication in magis, it will be removed from websites, leaving only title, abstract, keywords and a hyperlink to magis.

Compensation
Authors whose articles are accepted will receive one copy of the issue in which their paper is published.

Deadline for submission
Manuscripts may be submitted at any moment, although there are two submission deadlines per year: for the first semester edition the deadline is October 31st, and for the second semester edition it is March 31st.
