Transference to practice
An analysis of the academic studies produced revealed the necessity of further investigation aimed at obtaining a broader understanding of children and of their corporal dimension, given that their body is a certainly privileged beneficiary of a substantial part of educational practices. In fact, control, repression and punishment are exercised on infants’ bodies. Several times, actions or inactions by children are restricted; even actions that seem common, such as running, jumping, rolling, wanting or not wanting to sleep, going to the bathroom; remaining sitting down in silence or expressing through multiple languages.
