Abstract
Currently, child neuropsychology contributes developing useful methods for solving development problems. This article presents the applying results of role playing method in a Colombian population in the last school levels (48 children between 5 and 6 years old of a regular private educational institution), in the reflective thought education. The experimental group was applied the thematic roles play method and, according to Vygotsky and Elkonin, it ensures the acquisition of psychological neoformations of the preschool age. The pre-test / post-test analysis helped to show important changes in school activities of the experimental group children after the intervention.

Transference to practice
This study establishes a reference material that allows performing preventive actions of learning difficulties, from the earliest stages of schooling. It also raises a way of innovative intervention for the gradual formation of intellectual activity in stages within the classroom, according to the old psychological characteristics. As a result, it achieves the general psychological development of children’s personality and not just isolated aspects of their psyche. This research offers the possibility to implement this program in public and private educational institutions. The test can be made to children from transition grade to second grade. The intervention could be used with children of a wide range of ages.
