Immunogenetics and Immunomodulation The main objective of this research line is to study the immune response and evaluate the mechanisms of immunomodulation in different scenarios such as rotavirus infection, transplantation, lupus and diseases of genetic origin such as Down syndrome and Deletion syndromes in 22q11, among others. This research area has generated products derived from activities in human resource training through the direction or mentoring of young researchers, rural physicians, master's and doctoral students; It has also contributed to the generation of new knowledge through publications such as research articles in impact journals at national and international level, reviews, chapters in book, etc. We have been advisors to the World Health Organization (WHO) on the protection of Rotavirus Vaccines (RV), having written a review article on the subject which was requested and financed directly by the WHO.
