Oma järelhüüdes Eesti heale raamatupidamistavale asetas Märt-Martin konverentsil kuuldud uued seadused ja reeglid sellisesse konteksti, mis hoiatas riigipoolse ülereguleerimise eest, kuna see võib kaasa tuua eetiliste ja kompetentsete arvestusala inimeste tegevuspraktikate muutumise või töökohavahetuse.
