1. When and where will the Assembly take place?
The IAJU 2025 Assembly will be held at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (How to get there?) in Bogotá, Colombia, from June 30 to July 4.
2. Do I need a visa to visit Colombia?
The requirements for the application may vary depending on the applicant's nationality and the purpose of the visit (tourism, business, study, etc.). The study, processing, and issuance are done virtually.

3. Are vaccines required for any regions of the country?
No vaccines are required to enter the country. However, migration authorities do require the yellow fever vaccine if visiting tourist sites such as the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta National Park, Tayrona Park, and various Amazon reserves.
4. What are the common payment methods in Colombia?
The most common payment methods are credit cards, debit cards, cash, and virtual transfers. Keep in mind that payment methods may vary depending on the business.
Most businesses accept Visa and MasterCard franchises, but American Express and Diners are less common.
5. What is the official currency in Colombia, and where can I exchange money?
The official currency in Colombia is the Colombian peso (COP). You can find currency exchange offices in places like El Dorado International Airport in Bogota or locate currency exchange points in strategic locations in the capital by clicking here.

Yes, the university offers translation or interpretation services during the event to Spanish and English. If you need this service, please make sure to request it when completing the registration form.
9. Does the university provide Wi-Fi access for Assembly participants?
Yes, the university provides Wi-Fi access to all Assembly participants. You can find the network and password in the signage within the campus and in the auditoriums that will be enabled.
10. What is the exact address of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana?
The university is located between carrera séptima and avenida circunvalar, and between calle 39 and calle 45. To reach a central point, it is recommended to use the address Cra. 7 #40-62 and ask the people on the university campus for directions to specific buildings. To reach the Coliseum directly, you can use the address Cra. 5 #39-00.
11. Where will the Assembly sessions be held?
Primarily in the Coliseum located at Cra.5 #39-00.
12. Is there any identification or registration requirement to enter the university campus?
Yes, there is an identification requirement to enter the university campus. Each Assembly attendee will receive a credential that will identify them as such and will give them access to all campus buildings during the event.
13. How can I access the presentations or materials shared during the Assembly after it ends?
When the Assembly concludes, we will enable a section on our website where you will find highlights, interesting information and materials of the event.
Registration and payment
1. How do I register?
You can click on the “Registration” button and it will take you to the registration form. There you must fill in the data we request and you will receive a confirmation email. It is important that it is an email that you check frequently.
2. How to pay?
After you have completed the registration form it will automatically redirect you to the payment form and then to the payment gateway.
3. How to complete my payment?
If after completing the registration form you were not automatically redirected to the payment form, please check your email as there is a link that will take you to the payment form and then to the payment gateway.
4. What are the payment methods?
You can make payments with Wompi and transfers through Flywire. If you have a coupon, you can add it in the payment form to complete your registration.
5. Is it possible to get an invoice for the registration payment?
Yes, we will send it to the email you registered in the registration form. Please note that after you make the payment it may take a few days to arrive.
6. How can I contact the University, should I have problems or questions with my registration and payment?

7. How do I inform about special requirements?

1. What are the public transportation options to get to the university from the airport or the hotel?
From El Dorado International Airport or the hotel, you can take a taxi or a public transportation service like Transmilenio. The nearest station to Javeriana University is the "Calle 45 - American School Way" station. You can also opt for shared transportation services like Uber.
2. What food options are available within on campus?
On campus, you will find several food options ranging from cafeterias to restaurants. Whether you prefer a quick meal or a more complete dining experience, the campus offers options to suit all tastes and needs.

In the university community, there are two very popular foods which are "Pescadito" (little fish) and “Sándwich de Pollo Redondo” ("Round Chicken Sandwich)." During your visit, do not miss trying them. You can find them at most food service points.

4. What should I do if I have an emergency?
There are 8 emergency towers distributed throughout the campus, where you can lift the phone or press the button to report an incident or contact the cell line +57 310 576 3003 or through our internal telephone network at extension 3333.
5. Since the campus is open, how is security ensured?
Approximately 25,000 people, including students, administrative staff and external visitors, pass through campus during the day. To maintain security, the University has a closed-circuit television system that records 24/7 with 1,200 security cameras distributed throughout the campus.
However, it is essential to maintain precautionary measures such as safeguarding personal belongings.
Security corridors have also been established in nearby areas with high traffic, such as Carrera 13, Calle 45, and Calle 42.
6. Is there medical assistance on campus?
If you have a medical issue on campus, there is the San Ignacio Hospital where you can go for assistance. Remember, it is important to have an international medical insurance.
7. Is there a SIM card service to stay connected during my stay?
Colombia has prepaid SIM card service available, which can be purchased at El Dorado International Airport, shopping centers, or operator service centers such as Movistar, Claro, or Tigo.
8. What is the typical food of the country?
There is a great variety of dishes depending on the region or city, but the most notable ones are bandeja paisa, ajiaco, sancocho, and arepa.

Safety in Bogotá can vary depending on the area and the time of day, but it is recommended to always be careful with your personal belongings and avoid talking to strangers on the street.
