This book explores the remodelling of narrative spaces through semiotic insights, addressing contemporary challenges in understanding how space, time, and narrative intersect across various media forms. The volume brings together research from early career researchers in the International Association for Semiotic Studies (IASS-AIS) network, examining topics ranging from immersive theatre and visual narrative experiences to video games, 3D media, and interactive film. The chapters investigate how cognitive ecologies engage with theatre space, how technological development affects filmic identity, temporal and narrative dynamics in immersive 3D media, environmental awareness through immersive experiences, ludic space and semiotic frontiers in video games, narrative orthogenesis confronting ludo-narrative dissonance, and cyclical structures in cinematic texts. This work demonstrates the vital intersection of semiotics with contemporary narrative forms and emerging technologies.
